From satellite imagery to yard photos that you share, we use various tools to assess your grade, lot size, and other factors. This allows us to develop a smart design without physically visiting your property.

Every design will be handled by our founder, Rob Lowrie. With over 15 years of experience, Rob is a second-generation landscape designer whose experience and creativity make him the right person for the job. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Rob throughout the process, including your initial consultation.

When our work is done and you’ve approved the 3-D design, it's time for installation! We’ll send you the precise design plan, plus a detailed list of the plants and materials your local contractor will need for flawless execution. When possible we'll help you connect with a local contractor. If your contractor has questions, you can have them contact us directly.

Yardsmitten does not install designs. We design the blueprint and then do our best to connect you to a local contractor who brings your vision to life. If you live in Southeast Michigan, we may recommend Clarkston Landscape and Design, which is Yardsmitten's parent company.
